Individual Therapy

When Life Feels Harder Than It Should

Sometimes you know something needs to change, but you can’t quite identify what is keeping you stuck.

When Life Feels Harder Than It Should

Sometimes you know something needs to change, but you can’t quite identify what is keeping you stuck.

You may find yourself feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, caught in familiar relationship patterns, or carrying emotional experiences that seem to repeat no matter how much insight you have gained. Perhaps you are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, self-criticism, burnout, or a persistent feeling that something is missing beneath the surface.

Individual therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of your experience, and begin creating meaningful, lasting change.

As a licensed Therapist in San Diego, I work with adults who are seeking more than symptom management. Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware, and deeply curious about themselves, yet they recognize that understanding their patterns intellectually has not always been enough to change them.

Together, we explore not only what you are experiencing today, but also the experiences, relationships, and adaptations that shaped the way you move through the world.

What my clients and colleagues say

Understanding the Patterns Beneath the Pain

Many struggles that bring people to therapy are not simply problems to eliminate. They are meaningful responses shaped by life experiences. Individual therapy can help you explore:
Together, we work to understand how these experiences affect your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and nervous system.

A Body-Oriented Approach to Individual Therapy

My approach integrates attachment-based therapy, somatic psychotherapy, and PBSP.

Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor (PBSP) is a body-oriented experiential therapy that helps explore unmet developmental needs and create new experiences of safety, support, and connection.

Many emotional patterns are held not only in our thoughts but also in our bodies. They may appear as tension, shutdown, anxiety, fatigue, emotional reactivity, or feeling disconnected from yourself.

By bringing awareness to both your inner experience and your body’s responses, therapy becomes an opportunity to experience change, not just understand it.

Because lasting healing is not only about knowing something differently. It is about experiencing something differently.
